Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC's) are being studied for their potential role in supporting the body's natural repair processes and addressing inflammation and pain. Explore the research and educational videos below to learn what scientists are discovering about MSC's and their potential applications!
Why Do Some People Question the Current Regulatory System?
The FDA receives funding both from Congress and from substantial user fees paid by pharmaceutical manufacturers. Critics of the current regulatory system have questioned whether this creates financial or institutional incentives that favor the traditional pharmaceutical approval model.
Some also question what widespread adoption of regenerative medicine could mean for a healthcare system that relies heavily on long-term pharmaceutical treatments. They argue that if regenerative therapies eventually reduce the need for certain medications, surgeries, or other ongoing treatments, the financial impact on established healthcare industries could be significant.
There is currently no established evidence that the FDA is restricting MSC therapies specifically to protect pharmaceutical-company revenue or its own user-fee income. Nevertheless, the relationship between industry funding and pharmaceutical regulation remains a legitimate subject for public discussion and scrutiny.
Your Health. Your Research. Your Decision.
People have the right to learn about and consider therapies that may not be FDA-approved for a particular medical condition. However, choosing an investigational or unapproved therapy is an important decision, especially when significant costs are involved.
Before spending money on any regenerative medicine treatment, we encourage people to do their own research. Look at the published studies for the specific condition being treated, understand the potential benefits and risks, ask questions about the cells or biological products being used, and discuss your options with your loved ones.
That is exactly why this website was created.
Our goal is to make it easier for people to explore published research, clinical studies, educational videos, and other resources related to mesenchymal stem cells and regenerative medicine—so they can become better informed before deciding whether a particular therapy is right for them.
FDA approval is one piece of information. Published scientific research is another. Educate yourself, ask questions, understand the evidence, and make an informed decision about your own healthcare.

After working as a general anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician for 25 years, Dr. Steve Sniadach began practicing regenerative medicine. Before joining Celltex's network of tissue extraction centers, Dr. Sniadach decided to receive MSC therapy.

Tim Hallmark is a sports performance and fitness trainer with over 40 years of experience working with world-class athletes across numerous sports. His list of past clients includes professional athletes, Olympians, and world champions, with perhaps the most notable being 4x heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield.

When he was still practicing, retired physician Dr. Richard Taylor would use every tool he could to keep patients healthy. But when he was faced with type A aortic dissection in 2016, it was his health that was compromised.

As he entered his 40s, Will started to see changes in his energy and ability to focus. He noticed that his energy levels were being depleted throughout the workday and wouldn’t have enough to fully enjoy time with his family by the time he got home.

Wayne Isaacks became a Celltex client primarily for general wellness goals, intending stay healthy for as long as possible.
